Jurassic Art Park the Ballet

Almost 30 years ago on Isla Nublar a misguided multimillionaire created a theme park of cloned dinosaurs, what could go wrong?  Join artists and ballet lovers Dani Hicks and Shawn Bowman in an interactive kids and family workshop where we make costumes, learn some fancy dance moves and perform a dance interpretation together of the epic saga of man versus beast.  No previous dance or dinosaur handling experience needed! In the infamous words of Dr. Ian Malcom… "'Ooh, Ah.' That's How It Always Starts. But Then Later, There's Running And Screaming."

Workshop leaders:

Arts educator Shawn Bowman creates tangible objects from imaginary narrative settings, specializing in subversive craft writing, humorous modern artifacts, workshop instruction and game design. Passionate about enabling creative communities, Bowman empowers students both young and old with hands-on craft projects, literacy through comic writing and creating table top games working with organizations like Denver Public Libraries, Jeffco Libraries and the RiNo Art District.  www.twobeeindustries.com
